  • A registered social worker, Clayton has a degree in Political Science and Social Work. Clayton is currently working to complete a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. Clayton has had several employment experiences that have led him to work with diverse clientele within distinct settings. This includes over a decade of experience working with children, youth, and families as well as in the field of corrections. Clayton works from a collaborative and strengths-based approach with individuals, emphasizing distinctive strengths, characteristics, and resources to empower them to address and manage their challenges within their circumstances and from their frame-of-reference. Clayton believes everyone has a personal story that has shaped who they are and how they view the world. This informs how they respond to others, themselves, and situations. Each client’s healing, progress, and growth is a unique experience.

Clayton is a traveller, having visited over 35 countries. He is most content reading a non-fiction book with a pour over coffee at a cafe and enjoys exercising including hot yoga, the gym, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Easily, Clayton’s favourite author is Frank McCourt for his three autobiographical books about enduring hardships in Ireland, life, and yet still finding a way to tell his story with levity.
