Jing is a Registered Social Worker with a Master of Social Work degree specialized in clinical social work from the University of Calgary. Working with clients to pursue their full potential of a balanced and productive life is essential to her practice. Jing deeply believes that everyone deserves to live their life full of joy and achievements free of distress, struggle, and pain. Jing is committed to working with people to identify their strengths and resilience so they can heal and grow and move on. Her approach to therapy is to create an accepting and therapeutic space to release distress and share tears and laughter. Therapy is a place to find solutions, explore new perspectives, equip yourself with new gears, and plant the seeds of hope and happiness.
Jing’s professional background comes from her time in the non-profit sector where she developed a strong background in supporting vulnerable and marginalized populations especially those experiencing complex mental health challenges, trauma, and life adversities from diverse cultural backgrounds. Working from a trauma-informed perspective and strengths-based approach, Jing excels at supporting her clients to reconnect with their sense of being, passion, purpose, and peace. She offers therapy and works with adults, couples, and teenagers of 15 and above. Jing is bilingual offering sessions in English and Mandarin.
In her spare time, Jing enjoys spending time with family and friends in nature. She loves to jog and sees jogging a way to hold her mind, body, and spirits together.
